The Process begins

I will be spending the next few weeks organizing and editing some of the material I've created and gathered over the last 20 years. While I have been an aficianado of story telling all my life I have spent the last few years trying to help others discover the rapidly disappearing art of story telling. While the things I have learned apply to all types of story telling much of the material represented will be religious in nature. As time and opportunity allow I will record some non-religious stories but most of my opportunities to do live story telling occur in religious settings.

Religious or secular good narrating involves developing an ear for: scene, setting, character, tension, and resolution. It matters not the era, culture, plot, or audience, every story well told must have these elements.

If you stumble across this humble beginning, feel free to contribute any material or links you think would be of interest to story tellers.
